It would be an absolute privilege to be able to be part of the CDCD advisory committee with these sets of skills and knowledge. To be part of a process that as indigenous Bolivian decolonial feminist Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui asserts, attempts to make the anticolonial a (realized) struggle. Tundé is invigorated by CDCD naming identity as a focus. Because, it is identity, namely racial and (trans*) gender, that is still being used to determine capital and as the mortar building the walls of fort Europe. He looks forward to working with CDCD’s broad impressive coalition. Tundé is fascinated by the attempts to zoom into the ethical considerations that have to be made when working through the colonial amnesia that still fogs how we envision ourselves, our societies and collective futures. The 22 artists that will work in this project have no small tasks, but it is also what makes their work so potentially powerful. And to be afforded the possibility to play a role in setting the foundation of a proper ethical steering group is a kind of challenge that he looks forward to investing more deep thought in.
